• Pre-Survey Estimates: Quotations issued prior to a physical site visit or CCTV robotic inspection are indicative and subject to verification of actual ground conditions, pipe integrity, depth, and structural accessibility.
• Formal Contracts: Works are formally commissioned only upon receipt of a signed client instruction, official purchase order (for local authorities and corporate frameworks), or written acceptance of our scope of works.

Where emergency reactive callouts are requested (including out-of-hours water main bursts, severe sewer clearance, or structural building defects):

• Response Times: Our targeted average SLA response time of 90 minutes is an operational target and not a contractual penalty clause; dispatch times may vary depending on weather conditions, traffic incidents, or extreme storm events.
• Site Access & Safety: The client is responsible for ensuring our directly employed engineers have safe, unimpeded access to the inspection manholes, boundary stopcocks, or property fabric.
• Minimum Callout Charges: Emergency dispatches outside standard office hours (17:00 – 08:00, weekends, and UK Bank Holidays) may incur a minimum callout charge, which will be confirmed verbally prior to operative deployment.

SOS Group Services operates in strict compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation:

• CDM Regulations 2015: We prepare comprehensive Construction Phase Plans, site-specific Risk Assessments, and Method Statements (RAMS) for all engineering works.
• Street Works (NRSWA): All highway excavations and Section 278 connections are supervised by certified street works supervisors with appropriate local authority road opening permits.
• Environmental Licensing: Waste removed by our vacuum tankers or muck-away grab lorries is transported and disposed of under our registered Environment Agency upper-tier waste carrier licence.
